Rogue Renaissance Fantasy Faire
July 10 & 11, 2010
Jackson County Fairgrounds, Central Point, OR
An amazing gathering of entertainers, characters, artists, and troupes. Jousting and armored combat by the Seattle Knights;
Cannon fire, swordplay and piratical mayhem from BOOM (Brotherhood Of Oceanic Mercenaries); The Pacific Horde will demonstrate incredible Mongolian style archery from horseback; musical entertainment featuring the Sea Dogs piratical extravaganza, Beltain’s renaissance music, Tempest’s celtic rock, and Man Over Board’s unique brand of pirate songs! Great food, lots of kid-friendly activities, and a terrific group of artisans and artists who offer ye opportunities to purchase one-of-a-kind craft, costumes, and creations.
I’ll have a booth set up outside, featuring Quicksilver’s Pirate Pots (jugs, tankards, and bottles fer yer liquid assets) as well as a selection of oriental and piratical lanterns.

Art In The Pearl Fine Arts & Crafts Festival
September 4-6, 2010 (Labor Day Weekend)
Portland’s North Park Blocks ~ between Burnside and Flanders, bordered by NW Park and 8th Avenues.
- A beautiful tree-lined boulevard setting, in the heart of Portland’s Pearl District.
Rated in the top twenty of all USA Arts/Crafts Festivals by ArtSource Magazine, this juried show features artists from a wide variety of media. 125 booths with artists attending, all-day demonstrations and children’s activities, a fantastic food court (coordinated by yours truly), and an oustanding world-music stage. I am honored to serve on the Board of Directors of this fine festival.

The Portland Pirate Festival
~ September 18-19, 2010 ~
Cathedral Park in North Portland, under the historic St. Johns Bridge
A ship-load of international and piratical music, dance, merchants, food, and fun. Fill yer tankard at the Rogue Brewery Beer Garden. Black powder battles and brawls (Pirates versus British Regulars!), sword fighting demonstrations, strolling minstrels and entertainers, games and activities — for pirates of all ages. And of course, yer favorite, Quicksilver’s Pirate Pots….
A unique family festival that is sure to shiver yer timbers!
In 2009 we smashed the Guinness Book of World Records for the “most pirates gathered in one place” – we logged 1651 with hundreds more waiting to get in….. the Northern California Pirate Festival just beat our record and we’ll try to take it back in September! Get ye to our festival and help us take back the title!
