Lost Mountain Clayworks

Having ten goats here at Lost Mountain is beginning to influence my sculptural work. Makes sense, since ideas come from observations (whether we know it or not).

This big bowl has a goat visage on opposite sides, reminiscent of Greek, Egyptian or Chinese work with symmetrical depictions of animal deities or mythical beasts.

The bowl is one of my favorite shapes to throw and is a great foundation for sculptural accent. Pour in the champagne, let's revel!
